PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLES
Northeast Iowa School of Music offers a number of different performance ensembles that are available to people of all abilities. These groups encompass all instruments and a variety of different musical styles. Each group rehearses weekly and hold at least one performance a term.

New Horizons Band
New Horizons Band is a non-auditioned performance ensemble for adults age 50 and over. Members get to be part of a band, play favorite melodies with exciting band arrangements, meet new people who share a love of music, and have a weekly outing that promotes good health, relaxation, and fun!
HEARTLAND HARMONY
This a capella women’s chorus is the Dubuuqe chapter of Sweet Adelines, an international women’s musical organization built around music. Members learn the basics of barbershop harmony and performance mixed with great fellowship.
Dubuque Community String Orchestra
This non-auditioned ensemble is for adults of any age who play a string instrument.
