The Journal of Economic History has been published continuously since 1940. It is now published quarterly in March, June, September, and December by Cambridge University Press. The JEH seeks to promote the scholarly study of economic aspects of the human past from diverse perspectives, notably those of economists and historians, and to stimulate discourse among scholars with varied interests and modes of inquiry.
Articles on economic history and related aspects of history or economics will be considered for publication. Submissions are made electronically at JEH which also details the various steps. There is no submission fee for members of the Economic History Association. For non-members, there is a non-refundable submission fee of $60. To pay the submission fee click here.
The JEH is currently co-edited by Eric Hilt, Wellesley College and Bishnupriya Gupta, University of Warwick.
